These terms cover your use of acceleratepatterns.com and the Accelerate Patterns designs, patterns and tokens sold here. By creating an account or buying anything, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.
The plugin and the patterns
The Accelerate Patterns plugin is free and distributed through WordPress.org under its own open-source license. Full-page patterns are free to use. Designs used by a pattern are bought separately.
Accounts
You need an account to buy tokens and own designs. Keep your password private; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
Tokens
- Designs are bought with tokens. Tokens are bought in packs at checkout, paid by card or PayPal.
- Tokens never expire.
- Tokens have no cash value, cannot be transferred to another account, and can only be spent on this store.
Trying and owning designs
- You can try any design on a connected site for 7 days without paying. A trial is counted per design, per site.
- Once you buy a design you may use it on every site you own or build, including sites you build for clients, for as long as you like. Updates to designs you own are included.
- When a trial ends without a purchase, the design stops showing on that site until you buy it or remove it.
What you may not do
- Resell, share or give away the design files themselves, or offer them as part of another design library, theme or plugin.
- Remove the licensing that ties designs to your account, or try to get around trials or purchases.
- Use the store to break the law or to harm anyone else.
The designs remain our work; buying one gives you the right to use it as described here, not the copyright in it. The words and pictures you put into a design are yours.
Refunds
Unspent tokens can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Tokens already spent on designs, and the designs themselves, are not refundable, because the 7-day trial lets you try every design on your own site first. If a purchase is refunded or charged back, the designs bought with it may stop working.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the store and its downloads available, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may update, replace or retire designs; a design you already own keeps working on your sites.
No warranty
Designs and the store are provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those stated here.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.
Ending your account
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Designs you have already bought stay usable unless the account was closed for abuse or the purchase was reversed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top. Continuing to use the store after a change means you accept it.
