A row of red-brick terraced houses on a bright day
Case studies

Work we are allowed to talk about

Six jobs from the last two years, with what they cost, what we found once we were up there, and what the building looks like now.

Fifteen years of work, and the handful of jobs I would show a stranger first.

Nine years of roofs, in no particular order

Completed hip roof in slate
Cedar shake detail
Standing seam metal, coastal job
Clay tile ridge
Flat roof with new drains
Skylight row from above
Copper valley work
Storm damage, repaired the same week
New guttering on a terrace
A drone survey in progress
Drone surveys

We can see the ridge without putting anyone on it

A survey used to mean scaffolding or a very long ladder and an optimistic engineer. Now it means twenty minutes in the garden and sixty photographs of everything you cannot see from the ground.

  • No scaffolding, so no scaffolding bill
  • Geotagged photographs you keep, whoever does the work
  • Booked within five working days, weather permitting
What a survey covers

What clients said

Rated 5.0 out of 5
They turned up when they said they would, twice, which is two more times than the last lot.

Still deciding?

The survey fee comes off the cost of any work you go ahead with, so the only thing it costs you to find out is an afternoon.
